DeFi protocol Symbiosis integrates Milkomeda network

The multi-chain liquidity protocol Symbiosis Finance has added Milkomeda support, according to project representatives.

Milkomeda originated as a Cardano sidechain. The protocol enables cross-chain compatibility with networks that support the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), achieved through Layer-2 solutions based on ZK-Rollups.

The partnership is expected to give Symbiosis users access to apps such as Rubic, XDAO, Via Exchange, and others.

The protocol also collaborates with liquidity aggregator OccamX, which will route Symbiosis orders in the network. Institutional clients will gain access to CNT and ADA tokens directly through Milkomeda.

The project team launched an L2 solution, Algorand Rollup, on the Algorand public testnet. The initiative is intended to bring EVM capabilities to the blockchain platform.

Earlier, Symbiosis developers announced the Milkomeda collaboration in June.

In August, the multi-chain protocol became a partner of the Telos platform.
