On December 21, the 1inch project will release an update for the 1inch Wallet for iOS. The new version of the Web3 wallet will include the DeFi Racer game, developed by Nord Beaver Studio, according to project representatives.
Its premise is simple: the player drives a car along a three-lane road, avoiding obstacles.
If it collides with an obstacle, the car loses speed. During the ride, fuel is gradually burned. Movement stops when all fuel has burned.
Players can choose from four car types—from a standard hatchback to a sports supercar. However, every race (if you choose anything other than the hatchback) must be paid for with in-game currency.
In this way, players can select routes with DeFi-themed names such as Ethereum City and Optimistic Bay.
In the future, as the game develops, NFT support will be added.
1inch believes that GameFi and the Play-to-Earn concept, as well as metaverses, will continue to develop in the future.
“That is why the 1inch Foundation allocated a grant to Nord Beaver Studio for the development of the DeFi Racer game,” the project representatives said.
In April, the launch of 1inch Wallet for iOS took place.
