DePIN project Aethir partners with EigenLayer

Aethir, which is building a decentralised GPU network, has partnered with the team behind the EigenLayer restaking protocol. The collaboration will integrate AVS and allow Aethir (ATH) tokens to be delegated to validators in the EigenLayer ecosystem, according to a press release.

Aethir said the partnership will open new earning opportunities for ATH holders and help attract more GPU providers.

“Integration with EigenLayer is an important milestone in Aethir’s journey to reimagine the future of decentralised cloud computing. EigenLayer restaking not only increases returns for members of our community, but also creates new prospects for compute providers and companies,” said Aethir chief executive Daniel Wang.

Aethir has deployed more than 397,000 GPUs across 93 locations worldwide, including 3,000 Nvidia H100s and over 59,000 Aethir Edge devices.

The company has launched New Horizons, offering compute providers an APR of 200%–400%, as well as a $100m Ecosystem Fund to support gaming and AI applications. The fund provides access to Aethir’s GPU network and grants in ATH.

In December, Aethir объявила a partnership with Beam and MetaStreet to launch the $40m Tactical Compute (TACOM) initiative. The project is aimed at advancing efforts at the intersection of AI and cryptocurrencies.
