The luxury NFT marketplace UNXD, in collaboration with the GameFi project Decentraland, has announced the participants of Metaverse Fashion Week, according to Vogue Business.
The first week of fashion in the metaverse will feature Dolce & Gabbana, Paco Rabanne, Tommy Hilfiger, Jacob & Co, Elie Saab, Etro, Dundas, Nicholas Kirkwood, Cavalli, Axel Arigato and other houses and brands.
From 24 to 27 March, participants will showcase their virtual fashion collections on the runway, purchase outfits for avatars, and join after-show parties.
In September 2021, UNXD held auctions of the first NFT collection of the Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, which raised 1,885 ETH (more than $7.7 million at the rate at the time of writing).
In February 2022, Decentraland hosted its first wedding. The event was attended by a judge, witnesses and around 2,000 guests.
