On January 14, an unknown Ethereum holder sent 0.01 ETH from an address that had been inactive since the coin’s ICO—over eight years ago. This was reported by Whale Alert.

In total, the sender’s wallet contained 200 ETH (over $500,000 at the time of the transaction). These were credited in July 2015, when the price of 1 ETH was approximately $0.31.
At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $2515, according to CoinGecko.
In July 2023, another ICO participant moved 641 ETH (about $1.2 million at that time) for the first time.
