Duel Duck, a Web3 prediction platform based on Solana, has introduced KOL tournaments—competitions where influencers can engage with their audience. The first tournament will be hosted by the project’s co-founder and trader Cryptomannn, Duel Duck representatives told ForkLog.
Users of Duel Duck compete against each other by creating duels—bets with a question and two possible answers: “yes” or “no.” The prize pool is formed from the bets, and the creator of the duel receives a percentage of the total amount collected.
“On Duel Duck, people play against each other, not against the ‘system’ as in traditional betting. Now the platform features influencer tournaments. They are based on the principle of fair competition, where everyone can track their progress on the leaderboard. Users have the opportunity to compete for large rewards, while opinion leaders can earn from their audience’s activity,” commented the project’s CEO, Stanislav Goruna.
Influencers can set their own commission rates—from 0% to 20%. This is only charged on the winners’ earnings.
The first KOL tournament under the guidance of Cryptomannn will commence on February 13. To participate, one must join the tournament and make predictions in duels created by the opinion leader.
In addition to rewards for winning duels, participants with the highest PnL will receive:
- 1st place ― 800 USDC;
- 2nd place ― 500 USDC;
- 3rd place ― 350 USDC;
- 4th place ― 250 USDC;
- 5th place ― 100 USDC.
Organizers will also award between 10,000 and 100,000 Duck Points to 50 users. These points can be converted into tokens in the spring of 2025.
Duel Duck is a P2P prediction platform launched in the autumn of 2024. In November, the project opened the sale of its native token at a price of $0.0004 as part of the first public seed round.
This spring, the project will conduct an airdrop, begin public token sales, and participate in the Solana Crossroads conference in Turkey in April. At the event, Stanislav Goruna—CEO of Duel Duck, six-time Ukrainian karate champion, and bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympics—will speak.
