Earlier, it was reported that a woman named Hana contacted the police after an unnamed DWF Labs partner allegedly “spiked her drink with an unknown substance” at a bar in Hong Kong. The incident occurred on October 24.
I never thought I’d personally experience something like this. On the evening of October 24th, I was drugged by a partner at @DWFLabs at a bar in HK. I have reported this to the local police and have collected video evidence of him spiking my drink. pic.twitter.com/mCQpaxB6DH

According to Hana, she attended a meeting to discuss potential employment. When she went to the restroom, the man allegedly added something to her drink. A waitress noticed this, but before she could warn Hana, the woman took several sips and soon “felt very dizzy.”
She added that throughout the evening, her companion invited her to his apartment.
Hana provided the police with surveillance footage from the bar and filed a report.
DWF Labs continues to monitor the situation closely.
“Our team is built on transparency and adherence to the highest ethical standards. We do not condone actions that contradict our core values of honesty, respect, and responsibility,” representatives of the market maker emphasized.
Neither Hana nor DWF Labs have named the suspect. However, the community speculated that it might be Eugene Ng, who is also a co-founder of the OpenEden project.
For the avoidance of doubt, it’s this Eugene Ng dude — now removed from the DFW Labs web site. And he has since deleted his social media accounts.

Following the incident, his mention was removed from the company’s page. Ng himself has blocked his social media accounts.
Back in May, Eclipse L2 project CEO Neil Soman resigned following allegations of sexual harassment.
