Dymension and Evmos to test EVM rollups for the Cosmos ecosystem
The blockchain project Dymension has launched an EVM-compatible testnet with scaling technology based on rollups (rollups) in the Cosmos ecosystem.

Partners in implementing the EVM RollApp solution were the Evmos team. The network enables transactions between Ethereum and blockchains within the Cosmos ecosystem.
EVM RollApp uses the Ethermint protocol and the RDK stack from Dymension. According to the statement, this enables deploying EVM-compatible smart contracts with access to configuration options, low latency and easy deployment, provided by the solution.
To pay for gas, EVM RollApp uses EVMOS tokens which, via the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol, are interoperable across the Cosmos ecosystem.
Transaction data from the EVM RollApp testnet will be published to Celestia’s Mocha testnet, with Dymension Hub ensuring the interconnection of all infrastructure components.
To demonstrate the solution’s capabilities and interface, the project developers have launched a fork of Uniswap V2. Users can swap on the platform various test tokens.
In March, the Rollkit project unveiled the infrastructure to support for rollups on the Bitcoin blockchain.
