Tesla chief Elon Musk has again referenced the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin, replying to a user’s comment about the capabilities of electric vehicles.

A follower noted that Tesla’s Autopilot is capable of identifying dogs.
In the comments, Musk suggested that electric cars would display the Dogecoin logo if they detect a dog of the Shiba Inu breed.
The tweet did little to move the altcoin’s price. According to CoinGecko, DOGE rose about 2% at one point and nearly immediately reverted to prior levels.
As reported in May, the four‑member Dogecoin core development team said that has been collaborating with Elon Musk since 2019. Among its initiatives was increasing the throughput of transactions.
Earlier the entrepreneur said that the Dojo supercomputer could not be used to mine Dogecoin. The price of the coin then rose by about 13% in under an hour.
The last time Musk wrote about Dogecoin, listing its advantages over Bitcoin and Ethereum.
