“I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT,” wrote Musk.
The billionaire’s digital artwork features the inscriptions HODL, “Never sleep computers,” and a Shiba Inu dog.
The tweet is listed for sale on the Valuables marketplace. It is not clear who is selling it—Musk himself or someone else.
As of writing, the highest bid for the billionaire’s NFT tweet stood at $1.1 million. It was placed by Sina Estavi, founder of Bridge Oracle.
Digital artist Mike Winkelmann, known by his moniker Beeple, bid $69 million for Musk’s NFT. Earlier his painting ‘Everydays: The First 5000 Days’ went under the hammer for a record $69.3 million.
