Elon Musk’s AI startup xAI has announced the launch of Grok Vision. This feature allows users to point their phone camera at various objects and receive answers about what is in view.
GROK CAN SEE WHAT YOU SEE—LITERALLY
Grok’s voice mode comes with camera access, letting users point their phone at something and ask, “What am I looking at?”

The new tool is available on the iOS app, but not yet for Android. It enables users to point their camera at anything—groceries, documents, and other objects—and Grok will provide context and necessary information.
The bot is equipped with a voice mode supporting multilingual capabilities and real-time search. Unlike the vision feature, these two functions are also available on Android for users with a SuperGrok subscription at $30 per month.
Introducing Grok Vision, multilingual audio, and realtime search in Voice Mode. Available now.

Previously, xAI added the ability for Grok to remember conversations with users and provide personalized responses.
Back in March, the AI startup acquired another of Musk’s companies, X, in a deal to purchase all shares.
