Elon Musk’s AI company xAI has unveiled Grok Imagine, an image and video generator. The tool is available to SuperGrok and Premium+ subscribers via the iOS app.

The service allows users to create 15-second video clips with native sound based on text or images.
As is typical for Musk’s AI solutions, the threshold for filtering generated content is significantly higher compared to competitors.
Grok Imagine features a “spicy mode” that enables the creation of sexualized content, including images of nude women. There is a limit to explicit content—attempts to create the most “revealing” images result in them being blurred due to moderation.
Grok Imagine allows for quick image creation from text prompts and automatically generates new variations when scrolling. Finished works can be transformed into animated video clips.

Famous paintings can be similarly adapted.

The model allows for content creation featuring celebrities—from Donald Trump to Taylor Swift. However, there are some limitations. For instance, journalists at TechCrunch were unable to create a “pregnant president.” Instead, the AI generated images of him holding a child or standing next to a pregnant woman.
In July, xAI released 3D-animated AI companions for Grok.
