Elon Musk’s Startup to Launch Grok iOS App

Elon Musk’s AI startup xAI is testing an iOS application for its chatbot Grok, which is currently available only to X users, reports TechCrunch. 

Beta testing has commenced in Australia and several other countries. The app accesses real-time internet data and offers standard AI features such as text processing and image generation based on prompts.

“Grok is an AI-powered assistant designed to be as truthful, useful, and curious as possible. Get answers to any questions, generate stunning images, and upload photos to gain deeper insights into your world,” the press release states.

The company claims its AI model for image generation surpasses “photorealistic visualization” and is not subject to significant censorship.

xAI is also developing a web version of Grok.

Previously, the neural network was available only to X’s paid subscribers, but in November, the platform began testing a free version of the chatbot in certain regions with specific limitations. 

Back in the same month, the development of an application for Grok was announced.
