Enecuum launches Pulse mainnet with support for mobile mining

On August 28, the Enecuum, which develops a blockchain protocol for decentralized applications with mobile masternodes, launched the mainnet Pulse. ForkLog was informed about this by representatives of the project.

Since May 2019 Enecuum’s blockchain has undergone open testing in the Neuro network. According to Enecuum, during this time the test network processed 143 million transactions.

“Neuro has shown a good result, and this is only the beginning. In the mainnet, users will have tools to issue their own digital assets and use them in decentralized applications. We expect a mass migration of users from other networks to Enecuum, primarily from Ethereum,” said Enecuum representatives.

The Neuro test network processed 4 transactions per second (TPS). The Pulse mainnet’s throughput is 10 TPS. In the next version of the protocol, developers plan to increase this to 1,200–1,500 TPS.

In early September, Enecuum’s utility tokens ENQ of the ERC-20 standard migrated to the mainnet.

A hallmark of Enecuum is its hybrid Trinity consensus protocol. In the Enecuum network, blockchain chains are formed by three types of nodes: personal computers, mobile phones, and servers of token holders.

Users of the platform can issue their own tokens and earn from smart staking. According to Enecuum, [simple_tooltip content=’Return on investment ratio, used to assess investment profitability’]ROI[/simple_tooltip] of PoA mining is 12–16% per year, PoS mining for network validators (staking) is 7–12% per year, and PoS mining for network delegators is 6.5–10% per year.

Currently ENQ tokens are traded on crypto exchanges KuCoin and Graviex. Enecuum plans to list on several more major crypto exchanges. Users will be able to list Enecuum-based tokens on trading platforms that support ENQ.

The project has an Android-приложение for mining, a block explorer, and an economic-model calculator for token issuance.

In December 2019, Enecuum launched the BIT network to test the hybrid Trinity consensus protocol. The BIT network will continue to operate: developers will test new ideas there.

Learn more about the Pulse mainnet and ask questions during an AMA with Enecuum representatives. The broadcast begins on September 14 at 16:00 (MSK) on the Enecuum YouTube channel.

ForkLog previously explained how to create a token on the Enecuum platform in five minutes.
