EOS rolls out Ethereum compatibility solution
The EOS Network Foundation has rolled out on the mainnet an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) emulator to enable interoperability between blockchains.
The moment you’ve all been waiting for: $EOS EVM is officially live!
EOS EVM is by far the industry’s most performant, 25x faster than AVAX and 3x faster than Solana or Polygon.
And with $35M+ available for #EOS EVM projects, why wouldn’t you build on the industry-leading EVM? https://t.co/r01jPd3dia

The EOS EVM, implemented as a smart-contract solution, enables deploying decentralized applications for Ethereum and other compatible ecosystems on the network.
Creators of dapps in the EOS environment gain the ability to use one of the most widely used languages in Web3-industry, Solidity. On the other hand, Ethereum developers gain access to a network with higher throughput and lower transaction costs.
According to EOS Network Foundation CEO Yves La Rose, EOS EVM is 25 times faster than Avalanche and three times more performant than Solana or Polygon.
Earlier the organization announced the allocation of $20 million in grants to support application and gaming projects built on EOS EVM.
As previously noted, market maker DWF Labs is investing more than $60 million in the network’s ecosystem under a partnership agreement.
