Ethereum hits new all-time high of $2,716

The price of Ethereum reached a new all-time high of $2,646.6 in the ETH/USDT pair on Binance.

On 28 April at 04:50 MSK, Ethereum quotes reached a record high of $2,716 in the ETH/USDT pair on Binance.

Over the last 24 hours the asset rose by 5.7%, over seven days — 21.2%, and over 30 days — 53.3% (data CoinGecko). ETH’s market capitalisation exceeded $300 billion.

Despite the price rally, the average transaction fee on the Ethereum network remains at end-January levels.

Such a low figure may be due to the increase in the gas limit and the recent hard fork Berlin, which optimised various aspects of the platform.

Earlier, Ethereum was recorded on April 22.
