Ethereum price breaks through $2,000

In the early hours of July 14, Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, rose above $2,000 for the first time since May.

Update:

Ethereum price pulled back to around $1,990. In the last hour the asset fell 0.4%, over the past 24 hours it was up 5.7%.

As of this writing, Ethereum trades at around $2,008. Over the past 24 hours its rise stood at 7.5%, according to CoinGecko.

Bitcoin rose 3.5% over the last 24 hours, breaking the $31,000 level. The current price is $31,382.

Assets in the top-10 by market capitalization moved into the green zone. The biggest gains over the last 24 hours were XRP (66.9%), Cardano (25.4%), and Solana (32.6%).
