Ethereum price hits a new high of $2,146
In the early hours of Saturday, April 3, Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, rose to $2146, setting an all-time high.

As of writing, the digital asset was trading around $2100.
On April 2, Ethereum tested the $2000 level, and later reached a new high above $2080.
According to CoinGecko, the cryptocurrency market’s total capitalisation neared $2 trillion. Bitcoin trades below $60,000.
