The developers were also backed by Framework, Variant Fund and North Zone.
The amount of invested capital and the startup’s valuation were not disclosed.
The solution prioritizes the security of user funds, and also enables free transfers of the stablecoin USDC to bank accounts.
“The status quo isn’t good enough. Clunky wallets, built for technocrats or casinos, are hard to use and easy to lose money. Users need a safe and simple alternative to interact with blockchain networks and the real world,” Graah explained.
Zeal aims to address users’ current challenges through enhanced checks and transaction previews.
In October, MetaMask, in partnership with Blockaid introduced similar notifications in the Web3-wallet browser extension.
In November, Binance launched a competing product, which is available to users through the platform’s mobile app.
