In the sample, the maximum capitalization is less than $1 billion, while the minimum is just over $10 million.

The most significant performance was shown by tokens with the lowest market capitalization.

Five of these demonstrated triple-digit growth: two from the AI agents category, and three from memes.

The market capitalization of 9 out of the 12 assets that incurred losses was above the median average. No significant sectoral preferences were observed among traders.

Tokens issued on the BNB Chain predominantly increased in price, whereas coins in other networks showed mixed results.

The author of the study concluded that the platform does not create a particular “wealth effect.” The situation might improve after listing on the exchange due to low FDV, he added.

Binance is ready to consider some tokens for addition to the list of tradable instruments, but offers no guarantees in this regard.

The goal of Binance Alpha, launched on December 17, is to help users explore and invest in early-stage cryptocurrencies.

The pool of selected tokens is created considering the company’s industry experience and advanced analytical data, as well as community interest and market trends.

Earlier in December, the exchange launched the On-chain Yields financial product service. The first in the lineup was the Bitcoin staking project Babylon.
