Experts name the most popular cryptocurrencies among Russian social media users

Brand Analytics specialists analyzed the interest of Russian social media users in cryptocurrencies in October 2021.

Experts analyzed more than 2.4 billion public posts published on social media in October. Bitcoin had the most mentions — over 4.4 million times. The top three also included the Tether stablecoin and the Litecoin cryptocurrency.

Also on the list of the most popular cryptocurrencies among users from the Russian Federation were Ethereum, Ripple, Dogecoin, Solana, Monero, and others. Each of them was mentioned more than 100,000 times in the month.

Earlier the Bank of Russia assessed the annual volume of Russians’ transactions with crypto assets at around $5 billion, and stated that they are the most active users of the digital asset market.
