ForkLog to give away merchandise and $300 in ETH during online conference

On January 13 at 16:00 MSK, ForkLog will host an online conference ‘Old-New Year’: the main events of the bitcoin industry in 2020 and a forecast for the future.

We will discuss Bitcoin’s role in a world gripped by the pandemic and distrust of traditional money, discuss mining and DeFi, and offer forecasts.

Speakers:

  • Nikita Shteringard, ForkLog’s editor-in-chief, will recall the main events of the industry in 2020;
  • Unix/Network expert Alex Petrov will discuss how the mining industry has evolved;
  • Anton Bukov, CTO of 1inch.exchange, will focus on the prospects of the hot DeFi sector;
  • Trader Vladimir Koen will discuss shorts, longs, and Bitcoin’s price in 2020;
  • Yuri Melashchenko of Security Services Group will share tips on how not to lose cryptocurrencies.

As part of a panel discussion we meet with Andrey Velikiy, founder of the Telegram channel CryptoHamsters, the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT, trader and host of Gagarin Show Vladimir Nosov, and WhiteBIT’s CFO Gleb Ushakov.

The conference audience will be treated to a quiz by ForkLog and Cryptoiska. We will give away ForkLog merch and $300 in Ethereum. First prize will be worth $150 in ETH, second prize $100, third $50.
