Former Dom-2 contestant detained over Bitcoin fraud

Law enforcement detained the former participant of the reality show ‘Dom-2’, Pavel Ulomsky, on suspicion of fraud during a Bitcoin sale.

According to media, in November last year Ulomsky arranged to sell cryptocurrency to a resident of Naberezhnye Chelny. The buyer paid 254,000 rubles, but did not receive the bitcoins, and Ulomsky stopped responding to him.

The suspect was detained in Moscow and transported to Naberezhnye Chelny. 

\n

His lawyer said he had fully admitted guilt and is under house arrest.

\n

Earlier in February, Moscow law enforcement opened a criminal case for the theft of almost 15 million rubles from a financier during a Bitcoin purchase.
