Telegram’s Fragment marketplace has added the ability to buy a premium subscription for the Telegram messenger using Toncoin (TON) with a 20% discount.
Prices vary depending on the subscription term:
- 5.7 TON — 3 months (20% discount);
- 7.61 TON — 6 months (47% discount);
- 13.8 TON — 12 months (52% discount).
At the time of writing, TON was trading at $2.11. In the last 24 hours, the asset rose by 3.7%, according to CoinGecko.
On October 27, 2022, Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced the launch of Fragment.
In early November on the platform they bought the first username — @auto. Its price amounted to 900,000 TON (~$1.4 million).
Later in Fragment they added the ability to purchase anonymous numbers, with which you can register a Telegram account without a SIM card.
In late November, Durov announced a non-custodial wallet and decentralised applications, including DEX, from the messenger’s team.
