The Free TON community has approved a new phase of cooperation with the blockchain-based online game project called Galaxy Online.
Galaxy Online is an MMO-strategy in which every player belongs to one of the game’s factions. Each faction inhabits one or more galaxies and is integrated with a separate blockchain. Galaxy Online features races associated with blockchains such as Near, TRON or Free TON.
In the game you can develop bases, build spaceships, undertake regular quests, and join clans. Players are rewarded with cryptocurrency for completing quests. To carry out actions within the game, resources are required, which can be mined at bases.
Players can trade resources or items with each other on a single in-game market. Each user profile has an attached wallet that supports various cryptocurrencies.
The collaboration between Free TON and Galaxy Online began in the autumn of last year. In May, the project team reported on fulfilling the partnership conditions.
In the new stage, Galaxy Online will receive 1 million TON Crystal tokens in the form of a liquidity pool. They will be used to create the in-game resource Freetonium, which players of the Free TON faction will be able to mine.
Such resources will be created for each race. They can be exchanged for the native tokens of the blockchain corresponding to that race.
TON Crystal tokens from the liquidity pool will be distributed as rewards for completing tasks, as well as for victories in competitions and battles in the PVP zone. The Galaxy Online team announced the creation of an NFT marketplace on the Free TON blockchain.
Earlier the Free TON community approved a partnership with the gaming platform GamepadBot.
