Galxe to Launch Gravity Blockchain on Arbitrum Nitro

Leading Web3 loyalty program platform Galxe has announced the launch of its first-level blockchain, Gravity.

The new system will be optimized for cross-chain interaction, utilizing zero-knowledge proofs.

The PoS blockchain will be compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Reth in Rust will serve as the execution layer, while Jolteon (AptosBFT) will act as the consensus algorithm.

Key features of Galxe to be implemented on Gravity include:

• Web3 Credentials: The platform enables the creation, issuance, and verification of digital certificates (credentials) that confirm achievements, skills, and participation in various projects. This helps users build a reputation in the Web3 space;
• Galxe Passport: The digital Galxe Passport consolidates user activities in one place, simplifying asset management and interaction with various platforms;
• Loyalty Programs: Tools for creating NFT-based loyalty programs, allowing projects to reward users;
• Galxe ID: A unique identifier that simplifies login to various Web3 applications and services, enhancing convenience and security;
• Campaign & OAT: Galxe allows projects to launch campaigns and distribute OAT (On-Chain Achievement Tokens) to attract new users and reward active community members.

The implementation of the new project involves two main stages:

• The release of the alpha mainnet based on the Arbitrum Nitro stack, scheduled for June;
• The launch of a fully functional main network, planned for the second quarter of 2025.

In 2022, the Galxe platform raised $10 million in investments from Multicoin Capital, Dragonfly Capital, and other market participants.

Earlier in May, ConsenSys’s Linea project introduced a loyalty program aimed at boosting the use of its second-layer solution testnet.
