The cloud platform Google Cloud has begun a collaboration with the Canadian startup Dapper Labs, behind the NBA Top Shot NFT project.

“As part of a long-running partnership, Google Cloud will act as a network operator, offering its infrastructure to help scale Flow,” Forbes writes.
The Flow blockchain hosts dozens of applications, including CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot.
With Google’s backing, Dapper Labs hopes to scale popular NFT projects to billions of users.
In March, Dapper Labs closed a financing round of $305 million with participation from NBA stars and venture firm Andreessen Horowitz.
The Flow crypto asset, ranked 85th by market capitalization, rose 21% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
In January, Google Cloud posted a job listing for a blockchain-focused business development manager.
