Introduced in October 2022, Blockchain Node Engine allows users to deploy nodes on Google’s cloud platform. At the time of writing, the service operates exclusively with the Ethereum blockchain — Solana support will be added in 2023.
Speaking at the Solana Breakpoint conference, Google Product Manager Nalin Mittal also said that Google Cloud will integrate Solana into the BigQuery data-analytics web service. In his words, the tool will receive the relevant functionality in the first quarter of next year.
