Google Launches AI Subscription for $4.5 in Over 40 Countries

Google has introduced an affordable Google AI Plus plan in more than 40 countries, including Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, and others.

The most budget-friendly subscription first appeared in Indonesia, priced at 75,000 rupiahs ($4.5).

In most countries, it costs around $5. In some regions, the company offers a 50% discount for the first six months.

Google AI Plus provides access to the AI model Gemini 2.5 Pro and tools for creating images and videos—Flow, Whisk, and Veo 3 Fast.

Subscribers will also gain more features in the research assistant NotebookLM and can use artificial intelligence in Gmail, Docs, and Sheets. Additionally, 200 GB of cloud storage is available.

The news follows a day after the expansion of a similar OpenAI subscription to Indonesia. ChatGPT GO, priced at $4.6, first appeared in India in August.

Both companies offer a basic plan for $20 per month. With these new affordable plans, they aim to attract more paying users in regions where $20 is considered a high price.

In September, Google Photos users on Android gained the ability to edit photos using voice or text commands in natural language.
