Grayscale is now the Giants’ official digital-asset partner. This is the NFL’s first such agreement.
Under the collaboration, the firm will sponsor the team’s home games and training camp. Grayscale will also fund a charity golf fundraiser for the Giants Foundation.
For the team’s staff, Grayscale will organise educational seminars on cryptocurrencies.
Grayscale Investments’ funds manage assets worth $49.8 billion. Of this, more than $36 billion is in the Bitcoin Trust. The Ethereum-based fund is valued at more than $10.5 billion.
Earlier this year, on March 23, the Miami-Dade County reached an agreement with authorities to name the home arena of the local basketball club after the exchange’s own name. The county, as part of the partnership, will attract more than $90 million over 19 years.
In April, Sean Culkin from Kansas City became the first NFL player in 2021 to receive his entire salary in Bitcoin.
