The American mining company Greenidge Generation ordered 22,500 Antminer S19j Pro Bitcoin miners from Bitmain.

As part of its expansion plans, the firm signed an agreement to build new centers at six sites in Texas and bought a tract of land in South Carolina.
The total capacity of Greenidge Generation’s facilities will be 2,000 MW. In total, the company ordered 29,000 miners to be delivered by the third quarter of 2022.
Earlier in October, Greenidge Generation reported 729 BTC mined in Q3 2021. Revenue for the period is expected to be $33–$37 million with a net loss of $16–$19 million.
In March, the company announced the acquisition of a Nasdaq-listed provider of customer solutions and technical support, Support.com. The deal closed on September 14, and Greenidge Generation’s shares were listed under the ticker GREE.
