AI chip developer Groq plans to raise $650 million from existing investors to expand its cloud business following a December deal with Nvidia. According to Axios, the deal was valued at $20 billion and involved the transfer of some Groq executives to Nvidia and the licensing of its hardware technologies. As reported by TechCrunch, citing Axios, investors Disruptive and Infinitium are prepared to close the round if necessary.
