Hamster Kombat Developers Promise New Games, NFTs, and Token Burn

The Hamster Kombat team has unveiled their development plans for the game over the coming months.

In October, the plans include:

• launching the second season;
• expanding the game library;
• integrating external payment systems.

In November, developers will add:

• PWA for payment service integration;
• the first games from third-party developers;
• NFTs as part of the second season.

In December, users will see the integration of an advertising network and clans.

At the beginning of 2025, developers plan to launch two major games, integrate RMT mechanics, conduct clan championships, and expand partnership projects. Future plans include a second airdrop phase, an NFT marketplace, and moving beyond PWA.

In a conversation with Cointelegraph, the Hamster Kombat team hinted at a potential rise in HMSTR’s price following its listing:

“11.25% of the tokens distributed after the first season will be unlocked 10 months after listing. Given the rapid development of the project, the value of these tokens could be comparable to the initial unlocking,” the developers noted.

Revenue from the advertising network, set to launch at the end of 2024, will be used to buy back HMSTR and distribute them as rewards. A token burn is also planned.

Previously, Hamster Kombat developers discussed their anti-cheat system and the distribution of bans. Out of 300 million players, 131 million qualified for the airdrop. Most players were dissatisfied.

“We set a minimum hourly profit level to maximize airdrop allocation for active loyal players. As a result, over 131 million qualified for the promotion. Typically, a player could reach the required threshold in just over a day. The majority of the payout (about 80%) was based on the hourly profit metric,” the project team commented.

Binance, OKX, and other exchanges scheduled the HMSTR listing for September 26 at 15:00 (Kyiv, Moscow).

Developers of TON warned of increased network load from September 26 to 29 due to the Hamster Kombat airdrop.
