Launched less than a week ago, the blockchain game already boasts over 230,000 daily active users. According to company representatives, the app is particularly popular in China, as well as in Nigeria, Poland, Finland, and Canada.
Eligibility for receiving MAVIA was granted to 100,000 players. The airdrop allocated 6.25 million tokens — 2.5% of the total supply (250 million coins).
The app’s developer, Skrice Studios, raised $2.5 million two years ago in a round led by Crypto.com Capital. At that time, investors valued the project at $100 million.
In a separate seed round, Binance Labs funded the company with $5.5 million. In total, the blockchain game has attracted $9 million in investments.
According to CoinMarketCap, MAVIA is trading around $3.2. The token is listed on Bybit, KuCoin, HTX, and other exchanges.
Earlier, the crypto derivatives trading platform Aevo announced the release of its native token.
