Highlight to launch AI-driven generative NFT platform on Ethereum
On July 26 at 19:00 (Kyiv/Moscow time), the Ethereum network will host the launch of Highlight, an AI-based generative NFT platform.
The service enables the creation and sale of computer-generated images as non-fungible tokens.

Highlight does not charge authors a commission, so they receive 100% of the proceeds from deals. All transactional costs are borne by buyers.
At the same time, creators fully own the token contract and can dispose of it as they wish. The marketplace protocol supports Layer-2 networks Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon or Zora.
The platform collaborates with many generative artists, including Melissa Wiederrecht, James Merrill, Holger Lippmann, Leander Herzog.
“Over the next year, we will continue to make Highlight the most accessible and inclusive platform for generative art on the network. This includes support for credit-card payments, email-based sign-in, physical printing orders, and other convenient features that grow the size of the crypto-art community,” said Nathaniel Emodi, the company’s CEO.
In May 2022, the startup raised $11 million in a funding round led by Katie Haun of Haun Ventures. Other investors include 1kx, Polygon Studios, Coinbase Ventures, SciFi VC and Thirty Five Ventures.
In June, Sotheby’s announced auctions of works by generative artists as part of the Gen Art Program using blockchain technology.
Earlier, Amazon’s cloud division established a $100 million fund to finance its own projects focused on artistic AI.
