Huobi to discontinue HUSD support and convert user assets to USDT

The Huobi cryptocurrency exchange will discontinue support for the stablecoin HUSD, removing it from listing. This was announced on the company’s site.

\”As part of our ongoing efforts to foster the healthy development of the blockchain ecosystem, Huobi Global will stop trading HUSD and remove the asset from listing,\” the exchange’s representatives wrote.

The decision will take effect on October 28 at 08:00 (UTC). Users’ tokens will be automatically converted into Tether’s USDT at a 1:1 ratio.

In August, the price of HUSD fell to 92 cents due to liquidity problems.
