In April, Hut 8 Mining mined 132 BTC. In the firm’s reserves at the end of the month there were 9,265 BTC.

Average hashrate stood at 5.77 BTC/EH. The company’s total hashrate at month-end reached 2.6 EH/s.

Representatives of the company clarified that they did not sell any bitcoins during the reporting period.

According to the statement, during April Hut 8 completed repairs at its Drumheller facilities. As a result, the capacity of the installations declined by about 15%.

Rising electricity tariffs also \”created additional obstacles\” for the company.
\n\n
\”We fully understand the impact of the Drumheller problems on the business as a whole: they are complex, but we have made significant progress and have a plan to address them. The company is fully focused on closing the deal with US Bitcoin Corp., which will increase our total capacity to 7.02 EH/s and provide access to additional energy markets\”, — said Hut 8 CEO Jamie Leverton.

Last month the company mined just one BTC fewer — 131 BTC.

In April, the miner Bit Digital reported a profit of $32.3m for 2022. During the period, the company mined 1,247.5 BTC and 294.3 ETH.
