Impostors posing as Anonymous hackers pledge to 'do everything' to hold Do Kwon, Terraform Labs chief, to account.

Unknown actors claiming to represent the Anonymous hackers promised to do everything to hold Terraform Labs chief Do Kwon to account as soon as possible. However, the hacker group’s Twitter account contradicted the statement.

The description of the video published by unknown individuals contains a link to a site and social networks promoting a token called Anontoken. The YouTube channel itself, in desktop view, appears to be verified.

The official Twitter account of Anonymous stressed that they are not on YouTube, and they do not promote any token. The hackers also denied any connection specifically with the aforementioned channel, stating that it promotes a ‘scam coin’.

\n\n\n\n

Moderators of the Telegram community dedicated to Anontoken assure that the token is backed by a certain branch of Anonymous, since the group is not a single entity. The token runs on the Binance Smart Chain. According to BscScan, it is currently held by more than 3,500 addresses.

Earlier reports indicated that Terraform Labs’ activities were under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the South Korean authorities.

\n\n\n\n

A class-action lawsuit has also been filed in an American court, accusing Kwon of selling unregistered securities, as well as making false statements about the stability of UST and LUNA.

\n\n\n\n

The Anchor developers said that even at the design stage it was obvious that Terra’s collapse was inevitable.

\n\n\n\n

Kwon himself denies most of the allegations and does not consider himself a scammer. He also said he is confident in the success of the Terra 2.0 project.
