
In April, DFAs issued in Russia totalled almost 1 billion rubles
During April, Russian information-system operators issued digital financial assets (DFAs) totaling around 1 billion rubles. The figure is reported by Kommersant.
The bulk of the issue was undertaken by Sberbank. On 17 April the decision to issue the DFA ‘Radio City’ (up to 2 million rubles) was published; on 25 April — ‘Leasing Union’ (up to 10 million rubles), on 26 April — ‘Holding of Culture and Technologies’ (up to 100,000 rubles), ‘GAZ Automobile Plant’ (up to 100,000 rubles) and ‘Radio City’ (up to 1.4 million rubles).
Alfa-Bank last month issued Rostelecom’s monetary obligations for 750 million rubles. The DFAs were issued as a 90-day monetary claim with a fixed yield of 9% per year.
Atomyze announced a DFA sale programme backed by Norilsk Nickel shares. The issuer’s fundraising limit stands at 150 million rubles. Holders will receive dividends on the shares. The maturity date is 11 May 2028.
As of now, the platforms licensed to issue DFAs in Russia are Atomyze, LightHouse, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and Masterchain.
In March 2023, representatives of Atomyze said that since the tool’s launch the cumulative volume of DFA issuances in Russia had reached 2 billion rubles.
