In Ingushetia, organizer of a mining farm accused of causing 1.7 million rubles in damages

In Ingushetia, the preliminary investigation into the organizer of a mining farm that illegally consumed electricity has been completed, as reported by the МВД.

In December last year, authorities identified 190 mining devices in the Troitskaya stanitsa, valued at over 5 million rubles, connected bypassing the electricity meter. The damage from their operation exceeded 1.7 million rubles.

A resident of an unnamed neighbouring republic is suspected of organizing the mining farm. He has given a confession and is under a travel ban.

The criminal case has been sent to the Sunzhensky District Court.

Earlier in Ingushetia, several mining farms that illegally consumed electricity were identified, with damage from their activities amounted to millions of rubles.
