
In May, Bitcoin ATM installations slowed to 2019 levels
In May, 202 new crypto-ATMs were installed worldwide. The last time such low figures were seen was in 2019, according to data Coin ATM Radar.

There are now 37,836 devices worldwide. By country, the United States holds the leading position — accounting for 87.9% of all cryptocurrency ATMs.
The dominant manufacturer is Genesis Coin, with 41% of the market. It is followed by General Bytes (21.6%), BitAccess (16%), and Coinsource (5.4%).
The top-10 leading operators control more than half of the operating Bitcoin ATMs (70%). Among the leaders — Bitcoin Depot, CoinCloud and CoinFlip — their shares of the total exceed 9%.
Earlier in March, the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority warned that operators of cryptocurrency ATMs were operating illegally in the country.
