The Moscow prosecutor’s office has approved an indictment in a criminal case against three suspects, each of whom is charged with 37 counts of fraud.
As reported by the prosecutor’s office, the suspects carried out fake deals for the sale of equipment for cryptocurrency mining.
They created a dedicated website and advertised mining rigs for sale via social media, and rented premises in Moscow. The suspects entered into fictitious supply contracts for the equipment, but did not fulfil the obligations.
In this way they stole 15.4 million rubles.
The case has been referred to the Izmaylovsky District Court of Moscow.
Earlier, a resident of Arkhangelsk lost more than 8 million rubles buying mining farms.
