
Israel to launch the platform for trading digital assets
Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) plans to launch its own blockchain platform for trading digital assets. Заявление followed as part of the announcement of the development strategy for 2023–2027.
“Over the next five years we see a critical window of opportunity for integrating the Israeli Stock Exchange into the technological revolution affecting capital markets worldwide,” said the exchange’s head Itay Ben-Zeev.
Work on the strategy will begin next year. The program aims to support TASE’s value proposition by creating a blockchain platform that integrates cryptocurrency, including “DLT technologies, tokenisation of digital assets of various types and smart contracts”.
