In the third week in the shelter, Edmund and Alexander managed to establish contact with the outside world. Meanwhile, they discover an ancient book and begin to read it, but soon realize that the unholy writings fill them with indescribable horror. The material of the manuscript seems suspicious—it is clearly not paper. Edmund falls into despair and decides to leave the shelter to join the army of the undead. The demonic presence intensifies, but Alexander devises a plan for salvation. A stranger knocks on the door, claiming he can open cans with his bare hands.
