Ethereum co-founder and Consensys CEO Joe Lubin told CoinDesk that the cost-cutting, staff departures, and restructuring at the Ethereum Foundation represent a necessary evolution, not a crisis. According to him, the foundation should focus on core technology and network neutrality, while other ecosystem participants should drive Ethereum adoption and institutional engagement. Lubin identified agent commerce with autonomous AI agents as the next wave of Ethereum growth.
