
JPMorgan posts 56 blockchain vacancies, some linked to JPM Coin
The JPMorgan financial holding has opened 56 blockchain-related vacancies. According to the company’s site search, the term appears in the titles of 34 roles.
Some of them are linked to the Onyx division, which focuses on blockchain projects and the JPM Coin stablecoin. It employs more than 100 employees.
Other openings involve work on Liink for cross-border payments. Earlier, it was integrated by the State Bank of India.
CoinDesk says that such a number of vacancies in the sector could be a record for the industry. Positions are open in the United States, India and Singapore.
In December 2020, the financial holding conducted an intraday REPO transaction using JPM Coin.
A recent Goldman Sachs survey showed that 40% of their clients own digital assets. Of these, more than 60% expect cryptocurrencies to rise over the next 12-24 months.
Founded in 1844 in Geneva, the private bank Bordier & Cie added to its list of services the purchase, trading and custody of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Tezos.
