Justin Sun unveils payment system for ChatGPT in the TRON ecosystem

A decentralized payment system targeting various AI services, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, will appear in the TRON ecosystem, according to the project’s founder Justin Sun.

“The structure includes a blockchain-based system of smart contracts, a payment protocol, a basic SDK, and an AI-oriented payment gateway. The smart-contracts system is used to store user queries and AI results in a decentralized file-storage system on BTFS from BitTorrent,” he wrote.

According to Sun, the payment protocol will provide support for “stable currency settlements” on the blockchain. At the same time, the level of “interoperability” of the structure will give AI services access to standard settlement methods and the relevant API.

The founder of TRON explained that the described structure would enable a secure and censorship-resistant payment system integrated with projects built on artificial intelligence.

For example, WinkLink oracles will use AI capabilities to make certain decisions. Sun added that the technology would be employed in landing pages and other investment services.

Sun noted that the NFT market in the TRON ecosystem will support AI-generated content. The technology will also enable the valuation of non-fungible tokens, he said.

The TRON founder did not say when exactly the described structure would be integrated into the project’s ecosystem.

In December 2022, OpenAI introduced the ChatGPT chatbot.

In January 2023, developers announced a paid version of the service.
