Kazakhstan Approves Toncoin for Trading on Licensed Platforms

The AIFC Committee on Financial Services Regulation has reviewed and approved Toncoin (TON) for trading on licensed AFSA platforms, according to a press release.

The decision follows a comprehensive review which determined that the asset meets regulatory standards.

“Investors can now trade Toncoin on licensed AFSA platforms, benefiting from the robust regulatory framework and investor protection measures established by the AIFC,” the statement reads.

The inclusion of Toncoin in the AIFC’s regulated environment is expected to “attract a new wave of institutional and retail investors seeking safe and transparent trading options.”

At the time of writing, TON is trading above $7.6, having lost 0.8% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
