For the final version of the marketplace, the developers integrated the Polygon network. The project also expanded the list of collections from 70 to 250, including Reddit avatars.

According to Kraken’s statement, the marketplace does not charge transaction fees. NFTs on the platform can be purchased with cryptocurrency as well as fiat using a bank card.

“Whether it’s a drop causing FOMO, or a record surge in DeFi trading, the gas fee will not stand between you and your new NFT on Kraken,” the company blog states.

The project has partnered with Williams Racing, the Formula 1 team. NFT holders will be able to participate in a contest whose prize is the placement of their token on a race car.

In the future, the marketplace team promised to add more features and contests, and to expand the pool of collections.

Earlier, in May, Digital Bitcoin Art and Assets launched the beta version of the “first marketplace for Bitcoin-NFTs” based on RGB smart contracts RGB.

Subsequently, the NFT marketplace Tabi, built within the BNB Chain ecosystem, attracted $10 million. In addition to the usual features, the platform has an “experience points” system that converts user actions into bonus points.
