KuCoin and Gate List DAO Maker Token
Cryptocurrency exchanges KuCoin and Gate listed the token of the platform that promotes cryptocurrency startups, DAO Maker (DAO). This was stated in the project’s official press release.
The DAO Maker project (not to be confused with the DeFi project MakerDAO) was founded in 2018. The team develops products for blockchain startups: analytics tools, compliance services, and fundraising solutions.
DAO Maker’s mission is to create venture opportunities for a broad audience, and to provide new projects with tools to attract investment and grow their communities.
Last year, the DeFi project Orion Protocol raised $3.45 million through DAO Maker in a dynamic coin offering (DYCO).
DYCO is a fundraising method in which investors can demand a return of their investment if projects do not meet their stated goals. DAO Maker’s Marketing Director Hasan Sheikh notes that DYCO gives projects “enough time to prove the viability of their product”.
DAO Maker has also raised funds for Elrond Network, LTO Network, 2key Network, OpenPredict, DeFiner and PlotX.
DAO is an ERC-20 token that can be used for staking and financing projects within the DAO Maker ecosystem. The DAO smart contract address: 0x0f51bb10119727a7e5ea3538074fb341f56b09ad.
KuCoin and Gate listed DAO on February 9 at 12:00 MSK. KuCoin added the pair DAO/USDT, Gate — pairs DAO/ETH and DAO/USDT.
